Types of Hunts in the South Pacific

The South Pacific is home to an incredible variety of species and is an excellent destination for the entire family. Australia and New Zealand are the best-known destinations and offer some fantastic hunting.

New Zealand is a hunters’ paradise and is best known for monster red stag. However, many other species are available such as tahr, chamois, fallow deer, sika deer, rusa deer, sambar, elk, whitetail, arapawa ram, waterfowl, and some incredible fishing for brown and rainbow trout. We conduct hunts on both the South and the North Islands. Accommodations and food are excellent on these trips. Numerous additional activities are available such as scenic flights, personal tours of towns and attractions, horseback riding, and fishing, making it a great place to bring the family.

The Outback of Australia is also a world-class hunting destination. We primarily hunt water buffalo, banteng, scrub bulls, wild boar and dingoes in the wild and remote Northern Territories. And in Queensland, we hunt red stag, rusa deer, and chital (axis deer). But, of course, you can also hunt other species and do some fishing. Accommodations will be very comfortable, and sightseeing along the Gold and Sunshine coasts or the Great Barrier Reef is a must-do before or after your hunt.
