Deer are arguably the most popular big game species in North America. Most east coast and midwest hunters cut their big game hunting teeth on whitetail, while most hunters in the west grew up chasing mule deer. And while those are the two most popular deer species, there are three other types of deer in North America. And if you are trying to harvest all 29 North American big game animals or complete your deer slam, you will need to pursue all five. We specialize in putting our hunters on trophy hunts for all species of North American deer. We focus on areas and outfitters that produce trophy-class deer and continually seek the best opportunities for our hunters.
Whitetail deer are huntable in more states than any other deer – over 40 states and in Canada. Most of our hunts focus on trophy-class deer, and we have clients take record book 170 plus inch deer every year. We spend many days in the field annually, hunting and working with our whitetail outfitters to continually offer you the best of the best. Coues deer are small desert whitetail deer found in Arizona, New Mexico, and Mexico. They are known as the gray ghost of the desert due to their gray coloration, which helps them blend into the rugged desert landscapes they call home. It is challenging to locate these deer. Spending hours behind binoculars in beautiful desert terrain with longer-range shooting will make it a hunt to remember. Record book deer will sport 110 inches of antlers. There are two main types of mule deer – the Rocky Mountain mule deer and the desert mule deer. Rocky Mountain mule deer live extensively throughout the western US and western Canada, while desert mule deer inhabit southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Mexico. Mule deer tend to have large horns, and a record book deer will push the tape to 190 inches. We know where to go for monster mule deer and specialize in finding those great places where our clients can harvest a trophy mule deer. Hunting them is challenging, and choosing the right outfitter is essential. We also offer hunts for those looking for a rare Columbia whitetail deer.
